II. Media of the Week

Vincent Baker writes the final word in the “What is PbtA?” discussion. Generally, as far as debates over definitions go, this is an easy one because we’ve got the person who coined the term exerting a moral right to claim what it means as it refers to his copyrighted creation. It’s better than people arguing over what hard scifi means, I can assure you.
On the broken pencil blog, a wonderful profile of award-winning game designer, Jeeyon Shim.

On EnWorld, an interview with Luka Rejec about Ultraviolet Grasslands 2e
On Deeper in the Game, a good point about why early playtesting should be short and to the point. All my early playtests are also an hour long because they happen at Playtest Zero and that’s how the event is structured.
